The Academy Award short films are often the most creative and surprising films of any kind. However, they are not regularly shown in theaters. On March 5 & 6 film buffs can see ALL TEN NOMINATED Documentary and Live Action Oscar® nominees at The Palace.

This year’s shorts are an eclectic bunch. The storytelling spans a range of subjects, from the greatest living female basketball player you’ve never heard of (in a documentary produced by Shaquille O’Neal), to the coming-of-age of a group of deaf teens venturing into the hearing world, to the experience of homelessness in America.
