The Lords of 52nd Street, Billy Joel's original band, are coming to The Palace Danbury and we love them just the way they are!!
The Lords of 52nd Street are the legendary band who recorded and toured the world for many years with the "Piano Man." Selling over 100 million records and being the backbone to Billy Joel's formidable sound, they provided the music to the songs we all know and love.
The band is led by Richie Cannata on tenor saxophone, Liberty DeVitto on drums and percussion, and Russell Javors on rhythm guitar. Their efforts helped change the face of music. They have worked individually with multi-platinum artists, lending their talents to some of the greatest musicians in the world.
After 30 years and counting the band is reunited. And they don't plan on stopping anytime soon!! Critics adore them and their performances are blowing away fans of all ages. On Saturday, March 18, don't miss them at The Palace Danbury.
