The Palace Danbury welcomes the extraordinary talents of Rhonda Denétand The Bad Cats. On February 9, they will perform a collection of jazz and soul classics. Enjoy songs made famous by The FirstLady of Song, Miss Ella Fitzgerald, and Aretha Franklin, The Queen of Soul.Homage will also be paid to the jazz greats Billie Holiday, Nancy Wilson and Nina Simone as well as soul divas Etta James, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, and Gladys Knight.
Rhonda Denét has been hailed as a virtuoso who lends her flair to every song she sings. Formally trained AND soulfully gifted, Ms. Denét earned a degree in Vocal Performance from New York University and has been active in the music scene for nearly 30 years as a singer, songwriter, and producer.
Ms Denét performs regularly throughout themetropolitan regionwith her band Rhonda Denét & The Bad Cats and as lead vocalist for The Kazz Music Orchestra. Come hear her at The Palace Danbury and be prepared to be dazzled!
